Stephenie Kay McCoy
Stephenie Kay McCoy was born in Albuquerque New Mexico in 1978 to proud parents Stephen and Lee Ann McCoy. After graduating from La Cueva High School she attended Texas Tech University on a softball scholarship. Texas Tech was home to Stephenie for 9 very successful years and during that time she accumulated 4 degrees, played a semester of collegiate soccer and traveled internationally to study Italian. Upon graduation from Texas Tech School of Law she moved to Austin, Texas. After many months of reviewing the market and learning the nature of the legal industry she decided to hang out her own shingle and do things her own way. In March 2007, The McCoy Firm was born. Securing her first office space due to the graciousness of Alicia Wilde of Wilde, Ricardi and Associates, she was able to get her practice off the ground. Her innate desire to help people, coupled with her ambition to succeed in the courtroom led her right into the areas of family and criminal law. Since 2007 she has been helping clients find their way through tough times in life. In May of 2009, she decided it was time to take on a partner and therefore expand the scope and abilities of The McCoy Firm. The next step in her adventure of law practice is McCoy & Huie, PLLC. McCoy & Huie was established in July of 2009 and will be the new wave of legal advocacy for both Stephenie McCoy and Ryan Huie.

Ms. McCoy is a member of the Texas State Bar, Travis County Bar Association, Williamson County Bar Association, Austin Young Lawyers Association and the Family Law Division of the Texas State Bar.

After graduating from Boerne High School, Ryan spent four years at Texas Tech University and graduated with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Public Relations and Marketing.

Ryan received his Doctorate of Jurisprudence from South Texas College of Law in Houston, Texas in 2004. While there, he played an active role in the South Texas College of Law Legal Clinic where he conducted Divorce, Guardianship and Social Security Disability proceedings for low-income families. Ryan previously served as Corporate Counsel for Mason Catastrophe Claims Services in Boerne, Texas before taking an associate's position at Stibbs & Co., P.C. law firm in the Woodlands, Texas, where he advised business clients on matters ranging from corporate formation to multi-million dollar mergers and acquisitions. Two years later, Ryan took an in-house counsel position with Drillmar Oil & Gas, Inc., in downtown Houston. After spending the 2009 ski season in Jackson Hole, Wyoming, Ryan decided to join forces with his esteemed friend and colleague, Stephenie McCoy, and formed McCoy & Huie, PLLC.

In his spare time, Ryan can be found running and swimming with his boxer dog, Harley. He also enjoys playing guitar and singing with the Wheeler Brother Band on weekends, going to movies by himself, spending quality time with his family in Boerne, and maintaining his title as "Uncle Fun" to all his extended family's kids.
